Occupy Princeton is an open, participatory, democratic, horizontal, peaceful, and nonviolent movement. We join the voices of the 99% who are shut out by a system that punishes middle class, working class, low-income, and un- and under-employed people. We aim to provide an open platform at Princeton University for standing up against economic and social injustices within the institution and outside of it. What we need is not a university in service of the 1%, but a university that is truly “In the Nation’s Service, and in the Service of All Nations.”
Occupy Princeton stands in solidarity with the local community group, Occupy The Streets: Princeton. Visit their Facebook Group.
